Matt Hoffmans Pro Bmx 2

Well I finally did the 8 levels that matt hoffmans consist of. I must admit, it was a real fun game. Im thinking of playing through it again to unlock some more videos that come with each of the characters.I really love the idea of the game, Road tripping around america and carving it up with bikes. The characters that feature in the game actually did this for the game, humming around in a huge yellow bus thing with The games logo blazed all over it.

Its set much the same way as the early tony hawks, you have two minutes to run around the map trying to fulfill 5 different goals. Once you complete them you unlock more, Novice, semi-pro, and pro. Each earns you about 50 points. So 150 points or so for mastering the level. You use the points to buy new levels. the challenges are a bit different from tony hawks in parts, but basically the same deal, near the end you have to pull off certain tricks, which is pretty annoying(Try out a perfect rocketqueen fakie to lookdown on for size.) Around levels are random things like cameras that take photos of you in midair, CDs that get added to your playlist (I loved the music, especially "All a dream").

Its a fun game, If you see it for 20 bucks in your local budget bin grab em up. Obviously its quite an old game so dont expect any amazing graphics.

freakin annoying, cause it IS hard

Pure Pwnage

If your a gamer and the title of this post doesnt remind you of the coolest Pod cast internet show thingy out on the net then you may as well just go home and cry as you play your old jazz jackrabbit games.
For those of you who don't know what it is, pure pwnage is about a hardcore gamer called Jeremey "The pwnerer" and Kyle, the film student whos filming Jeremies life. The first episode of season 2 has just come out and its a bit more than half an hour long.
Watch them with an open mind, cause it may seem like a mocumentary at first but it will quickly morph into a series of different styles. Quite inovative and well done. I'm not going to go into it in to much depth, cause The magic of it would be spoiled that way.
So Im just telling you to go check it out.

Burnout 3 - and revenge

So me and matt were gonna go over to hang out with the chicks, Bex has fallen in love with burnout revenge over the past couple of days. Shes also been professing she will beat me fair and square(bless her soul). I didnt really see why she couldnt but I desided to disagree on principle.

So we decided to tear ourselves away from Guitar hero to practice up our car mangling skills. To be honest I hate the Destroy everything parts of the game. Where you have to rush into a busy intersection and politically incorrectly blow the shit out of everything in sight. They just dont interest me much. Races on the other hand are what I know and love.

So we played that for about 10 minutes before I lost interest and we went off to play something else.

So the next day (Im sorry Bex but you brought this on yourself =P) we go over to the girls place with 2 half finished bottles of coke, chips and more importantly the xbox 360. We go in, watch them play singstar for a bit. Then I finally got to sit down (with the pink ps2 controller) and whip bex at burnout. and so ends the boasting. The end.

For the rest of the night we played Guitar Hero. Dude its amazing watching matt play monkey wrench without looking.

Matt when you read this, comment your longest streak and what song it is. Im fuzzy on the details.

Tony Hawks 4 - Matt hoffmans 2

Well I originaly clocked most of this game on gamecube in January. So it was interesting to play it on xbox and checked out the differences. I dont remember the mini games on the gamecube version. But thats about it.
I played as Bam. His pro challenge (when you get that far) is to do 3 different types of races in a shopping trolley. It was a bit frustrating but I managed it in the end. woot I guess. Since doing the pro challenge I havent bothered going and doing all the others. I just dont see the point.
Its weird. Playing project 8 is like, ugh, completely different form all the others. and I must say, I suck ass. Perhaps its the set up, or the way the camera is pretty much pressed against the skaters back, or its just to complicated and you dont go as high as you usually do. Either way, I suck.
Well, off to play matt hoffmans pro BMX 2. Woot woot. I hated the feel at first cause I was expecting pro skater on two wheels, but Im getting more and more into it. And I love it how they bless you with videos and stuff all the time. It would own to truly go on a tour like that.

NOW TO PWN THE HOFF.

games galore

ok, in the past two weeks I have had severly good luck when its come to aquiring new xbox games. Im so proud in fact I'm gonna give a list of the games I got. If you have something particularly about any of the games don't be afraid to post:

Sonic mega collection plus
Farcry:Instincts evolution
Tony Hawk's pro skater 4
Medal of Honor: Frontline
Dead Or Alive 3
Jade Empire (Limited Edition)
The Elder scrolls III: Morrowind (GOTYE)
Burnout 3:Takedown
Tom Clancy's Ghost recon Advanced Warfighter

The Beauty of all this. Didn't have to pay a cent. Me and Ben have a mate in EB who had some stock that they were gonna throw away so he nabbed 5 of the 9 games in that list for us. Tom Clancy and Farcry have the yellow "for promotional use only not for resale all over them. And on far cry you HAVE to watch the freakin intro video, but other than that their all good. The other 4 games we aquired with a chipped X Box that has san andreis on the harddrive. Some guy owed ben money. It was the only way he could pay him. mwahahaha! Im in gaming bohemia. That state of constantly switching games cause you have so much choice but no real interest in the importance of any of them.
