Now this is a cool expansion. I Recommend it over bon voyage or seasons. If your itching to make your house into a what would resemble a gay nightclub then this is for you. The one new object (of over 125 so the blurb goes) I was most looking forward to was the DJ Booth. Its pretty neato, it puts up your creativity the same way the piano does. And the cool thing is people dance along to it.
If you decide to go downtown, to the clubs and stuff, you can actually go be the DJ and earn money, you can also tend the bar. When I tried it I only earned $5 per hour or so. So I didnt really bother much after that. Buying a car is kinda cool. Saves having to call a damn taxy when you want to go to a community lot.
The one problem I had was every time I wanted to go to a club or something It would take forever to load. So that put me right off.
Other new features is how you interact. Mainly flirting. people now have chemistry together, and sometimes they have a relationshit. You get angry at people if they offend you enough.
All in all its an Ok patch. I still wish robert would lend me University though. (it adds another phase of life, thus making your sims live that little bit longer.)
Sims 2
As the great buzz lightyear once said.
So, Im a little late with sims 2, I know. The original coming out in about 2005. But hell, you have to admit, its playable for a looooong time. Twice as addictive as the original I must say. It keeps playability and avoids the "ground hog day" effect by having the new, Aspiration points system. Basically each day you have a bunch of achievements to go for, every time you complete one it changes to something else, and you earn aspiration points. This helps put up their mood, and these points help buy groovy items, like the money tree, love tub, and the life potion. Its handy, considering your sims age over time. and its not very cool having an old sim.
Ok, funny glitch. Im guiding my sims around the kitchen as you do, on the bottom floor. All of a sudden a naked streaker is climbing over the wall. not an outside wall. But the wall that seperates the house from the outside world. It was hilarious. Then I realized it was someone getting into the bath upstairs. So I clicked to go upstairs. And sure enough its a chick trying to get into the bath. When I clicked upstairs the cencor blur started to work again. So yes... I have seen a naked sim without the need for all those patchs people feel the urge to make all the time. I mean honestly, I have heard about cheap thrills, but theres a line people, And if you cross it your going to be labeled a nerd for life.. So dont cross it.

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
This was a sweet game, let me tell you. So the graphics were a bit shitty, and it would judder a bit, But thats cause they built it for XBox 360, So I cant really complain much I guess.
What I liked was how your HUD (Your health, ammo, radio, radar, all the crazy stats around the sides) is actually inside the game. Inside your helmet, as they make us believe. When you move around and turn it moves around with you. So the big bad ol Mexican rebels sometimes have jammers, cutting off all your electronics. And thats when you realize how much you actually rely on it.
The story line was clever, and At the end its kinda sad, but I was a little pissed that they left it wide open for the sequal.
What I also enjoyed was that your other squad had missions of their own. It gives you the sense your not one big dude doing everything by himself, your actually apart of a team. Sometimes you can get help from snipers, your other team, your team mate (hes around most of the time, and hes a real life saver at some points.)
All in all, this was A good shooter, its not an easy one, I dont recommend it to noobs. Its similiar to brothers in arms, the whole commanding your units thing. I found it difficult at first, but once you get into the groove it is an addictive game. 6 hours or so gameplay, its over to fast. (but thank god for sequals.)
