Atari anthology

Ok, how many people used to have an atari? Werent they kick ass? It was a little before my time, but I still have my brothers one. its one of the early early ones. The computer is part of the keyboard, the screen only works in different shades of green and black. And you get uber awesome kick ass joysticks to go along with it. Games like joust, conan, that messed up one with that ball and the holes... original mario brothers, ghost busters! Oh my god, ghost busters had a thing at the begining where you could kariokie along to the theme song. that was a revolution in gaming right there.
So anyway, Ben, my bro, decided to buy the atari anthology for xbox, so we could relive the glory days of huge floppy disks and external floppy disk drives.
Man.. The ones on the atari were way cooler than whats on this shitty CD. THAT, was my first impression, but when you hunt around the cd gets real fun. I mainly hang out in the arcade area, getting insanely high scores on the different versions of meteors. And theres heaps of two player games, making it pretty fun to do with friends. But honestly, if you go into playing this, go in with a good sense of humour, I almost laughed myself shitless at night driver. People would buy that game???
if your real sneaky, inside bonus features youl find a couple of games that were never finished or released. Also A bunch of videos of the founder of atari warbles on for a bit. Its real interesting, I guess its cause were fan boys.
Oh yea, hang man is pretty funny. especially two player, _ENIS, hmmm, this could be difficult.
After playing it for the first couple of times I felt washed out and a bit pissed off, but once you find a game you like you get real into it. Pump on your own sounds to drown out the annoying beeps and then your set.

Fun Fun. Damn, this sounded like a big plug for atari didnt it? Oh well. Off to clock driv3r again. =P
