FarCry Instincts: Evolution

This is an awesome game. The first things that struck me about the game was how wide it always felt, and the water. Wow... That is cool water. I so wanna play it multiplayer. Kick some ass on a home made map. Thats the cool thing, you can make your own islands to fight about on.

The Story line is pretty cool. Never leaving the view of the main character, there are some pretty awesome action scenes, they did a good job of the props and some of the action that goes on in them. I would have to say this is the best 1st person shooter since Doom3. I think thats what all these games need, ambience and some sort off theme and feel that makes you really feel a part of the game (Heh heh, WHICH part do YOU like to feel.)

It IS a rather short game, I was surprised it was over so quickly, I was expecting thousands of the same sort of thing over and over again like Halo 2. Did you ever notice that, they designed like three rooms for each level, and just varied it slightly, I think aliens would be a bit more creative than that. I think the creators of farcry knew when to stop. They made a lot of original stuff and werent going to over kill it. I guess the life longetivity of the game is lengthened by the multiplayer side of it. Which sadly I probably wont be able to enjoy much since I have no real life friends. =(
I totally need online capabilities on my xbox.
