Scene it

Ok, these are first impressions of the new 360 game Sceneit. At first glance it is an expensive imitation of playstations Buzz. But first off, the controllers are hella nicer. I found it easier to mistake buttons with the PS2 buzz controls than I did with sceneits set. Playing the party version there seems not a lot of need for the top big button. It doesnt act as a buzzer or anything. Its just a nice big ornament, which also acts as a directional pad. Thats the other bonus over the PS2's ones. But all this doesnt really matter. So what, the controls are nicer. Sucks to be stuck with the yellow one.

Gameplay: Like I said, I only played that party one. Apparently it has no end. We got to round 3 (Each round takes forever) and decided enough was enough. Whats weird is that it shows your answer on the screen. You have a certain amount of time, and as time decresses so do points. So even if you see someones answer and pick it you wont get the same amount of points, which helps balance it a little. Unfortunatly none of us are hardcore movie buffs and knowing the answer was rare. So most of the time we were psycing each other into choosing our answer by going "OOOH!" And stabbing at the screen with your controller quickly. This shows that you have confidence and everyone quickly jumps in for the ride (over the cliff).

I have noticed with these trivia games it gives people the ability to be complete dicks. It should have it on the box as a selling perk "Act like a snob, Rub your friends noses in it! Show off. Dont worry, theyl get their own back in the next turn when you get it wrong!" Honestly though, everyone (myself included) LOVE to cut each other down, laugh at, and in general act like ass holes to each other. As soon as the game is turned off it goes back to normality. If the games turned off and your still acting exactly the same, then it may be time to get a new personality.
