FaceBook

First came Myspace. It has now been forgotten and has fallen out of trend with pretty much every one I know. Everyones converted to Beboism. I used to have a bebo. Then I realized it was GAY and SHIT and as bad as myspace. So I deleted both my accounts. Unfortunatly I did it on the spur of the moment so I lost all my short stories on Myspace. (Matthew, grr.)
So what is the next friends network trend? Facebook. ha ha ha. No no. Im kidding. I tried out facebook. Everything you click it asks me if I want to install it onto my page. Its like "No. Frig, I just wanna see what the hell you are first. What if your a hermaphrodite program. Youl have weird parts coming out of strange places and youl screw EVERYTHING (Everyone) up."
Also Its a great way to feel momentarily loved when you go to check your emails. "you have recieved a 'poke' from 'yadayada' "-_-
Oh yea, thats another thing. It doesnt let you do goofy names (which is a good thing since I hate all the Artistic ascii people do on either sides of their names. Do you ever wonder how they remember all that?)
So it deemed Izak Flash Man Inappropriate. So I stuck with Izak Flash. Oh well. Ill never use it again anyway.

Yahtzee and zero punctuation

,Ok, I finally got round to listening to my friends who told me to go look at this interweb thingy. Zero Puncuation by Yahtzee, Awesome stuff. Its a simplistic flash animation with a fast talking(Hence the name) British guy who totally owns when it comes to reviewing games. I found myself laughing and saying "Thats so true" quite a lot. The awesome thing is its a WEEKLY show. Each episode is about 4 minutes long. As long as you can handle large quantities of swearing you should be fine. A couple of my chick mates have watched them and also find them funny, so you dont need to be a gamer, or have played the ,games to find them amusing.
At the time of this posting he has just released a review on F.E.A.R. So screw this blog, Im gonna go check it out.

Portal & narbacular drop

I shoulda done a blog about this one sooner. Ok, If you havent played portal yet(Because You have a dumb PS3 that waits at least 3 or so months before releasing anything+ being that little bit more expensive), or your not hyped about playing it, then you obviously dont know what your missing out on. If your not into mind bending puzzle games this may not be for you. But hey, it comes with the orange box pack, so you still get the shoot em ups of half life 2 right?
Its an awesome game, Unfortunatly you can play the entire game in one sitting, being about a three hour game at most. Fortunatly there is challenge modes to make the game more... challenging -_-.
I have to admit, the game is addictive, and fun to mess around with. GlaDos keeps the game interesting and also adds humour to the game play, as well as some form of story line.
Look out for cracks in the walls and black hand prints for some easter eggs. This game deserves a 5/5, its original and entertaining. I wonder if the PC version will release map making packs?
If you want an idea of how the game works, or you wanna see how the game originally started out (as a little freeware game made by some students) then check out www.nuclearmonkeysoftware.com and download Narbacular Drop. Its so crap, but you can see so much potential in it that was fulfilled by valve. Ok, Im not even gonna bother trying to explain how the portals work, look up some Vids on youtube or something. On a final note, if you still crave portal, try out the flash version. http://portal.wecreatestuff.com/
