Greek Pt.1

I have a new player, introducing Becky to DnD via the redbox. Although what follows is a custom made quest for people of the single player Roguey persuasion.

Greek, a Halfling with an Asian appearance sat in the Blue Moon Ale house in Fallcrest. She sips idly at her Pint, enjoying the company around her.
Over the laughter of patrons a plaintive cry rings out. It comes closer and closer to the Ale house, and finally words are made out. “My husband! My husband!”
Greek and a few others get up, curious to see what’s happening. They go outside and see a gaunt woman bent over in front of the Ale house, breathing hard and crying all over the place.
One of the patrons walk up to her, “What is it Ann Sprocket? What’s wrong?”
“My husband… He’s.. in the lower fields.. Coming towards us.. I saw him..”
She starts to cry.

Random tavern Goer: “Did wolves dig him up? Move him?”

“No! He’s walking! You don’t understand! He’s dead!”

Greek, her interest suddenly piqued, strolls up to the woman and asks her a few questions. She dwells to long on how Mrs. Sprockets husband died, setting the distraught woman off again.
She decides, along with a few other patrons, to check out the farm and see what’s up.

As she approach the farmstead Greek sees a person scrabbling in a nearby garden. As she gets closer she catches a whiff of a putrid smell, a man, almost completely bald apart from a few patches, is completely naked. He claws at the ground with his bare hands. She realizes that it’s not a garden he’s digging, but his own grave he’s trying to crawl back into.
A few of the people vomit and one crys out “It’s probably that God forsaken Figgens again. That man and his boy are possessed by the devil!”

With a few directions Greek sets off to find a Healer, who may know how to dispel the corpse. The rest of the villagers stay to make sure the late Mr. Sprocket doesn’t wander off.
